eBay International Shipping is our new shipping programme for UK sellers, a trust evolution and replacing our Global Shipping Programme which is designed to make it easier to reach more than 136 million buyers across 195+ markets globally.

The aim is to make international selling much more manageable, especially for smaller businesses that may not have the time or resources to handle the complexity themselves. It’s designed to be simple, so how does it work?

Sellers ship sold items to a UK hub, and eBay manages the rest, including customs, international shipping, buyer support and international buyer returns on the seller’s behalf. That means you can focus on things like listings and stock management, while we support you on the logistics. How can eBay International Shipping help me grow my business?

It gives sellers a simpler way to reach more buyers around the world without taking on the admin burden that often comes with international selling.

By handling areas like customs documentation, tax and duty calculations, international delivery, carrier management and post-sale support, we are helping sellers spend less time on logistics and more time focusing on listing, selling and growing their business. How do returns work with eBay International Shipping?

This is one of the biggest benefits of the programme. For the first time, eBay International Shipping includes protection from international buyer returns, with eBay managing the process on the seller’s behalf. That means sold is sold.

This removes one of the biggest pain points in international selling and gives sellers greater peace of mind when selling to buyers overseas. Will it cost me more to use eBay International Shipping? No, there are no additional fees for sellers using eBay International Shipping, and international selling fees are waived on EIS orders.

Buyers pay international shipping costs and any applicable duties and taxes, while sellers simply ship the item to the UK hub. Is eBay International Shipping available to all sellers? Yes. The programme is designed for all sellers, from occasional sellers and side hustlers to established businesses. There’s no need to prepare in advance.
