Full Coverage

Optiseller, who specialise in optimisation solutions for e-commerce, has launched a Managed Data as a Service (MDaaS) platform. One of the key issues facing e-sellers is that as their business grows their stock inventory can expand exponentially. Managing the data can become unwieldy and start impacting sales.

The Optiseller solution removes this burden from the seller by taking the raw data, enriching it, maximising item specifics, enhancing titles and streamlining the upload process. In addition, data is fully optimised for eBay’s search algorithm. One of the first clients to reap the benefits of the system is Preamato Fashion.

The company specialises in selling pre-loved designer handbags, fashion and accessories through its eBay store. New, pre-owned and display items are sourced world-wide. Preamato used manual methods to input data but over time this had become too time-consuming, inefficient and unwieldy.

Company founder Sam Packard said: “Listing products was taking up a huge amount of our team’s time. It was a manual, resource-heavy process that slowed us down.” Using the MDaaS platform the company has managed to ensure the data is rich in detail, high quality and complies with eBay’s rules for maximum visibility.

Optiseller handles the heavy lifting when it comes to listings which has genuinely changed how we operate day to day. What used to take significant time, and manual effort now runs seamlessly. It has freed us up to focus on growing the business. From January to March this year we were ranked as the top seller for handbags and accessories on eBay.

Every single one of those listings was created by Optiseller.

– Sam Packard, foudner, Preamato Looking at the detail, Preamato found that in Q1 2026: 2,204 SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit) were fully optimised Item specifics increased from 17,736 to 53,677; a 203% increase Average item specifics per SKU increased from 8 to 24 Use of eBay default values increased by 807% Average title length improved by 89% Overall, these improvements have led to stronger listing quality, greater visibility and better alignment with eBay’s search algorithm.

The e-commerce sector is becoming fiercely competitive, and sellers have to fight for every sale. Optimisation tools should be a key weapon in your armoury. As Preamato has demonstrated, by streamlining and improving listing methods you can reach the top of the eBay rankings. – Martin McKinlay, senior account manager, Optiseller
