Costco launches nationwide on DoorDash

Costco launched nationwide on DoorDash on Sept. 17, 2026, offering 4,000+ products for same-day delivery — the same week Costco also expanded with Uber Eats in the U.S. Costco now uses Instacart, DoorDash, and Uber Eats simultaneously for last-mile delivery.
Costco joining three simultaneous last-mile platforms reflects accelerating platform consolidation in grocery/bulk delivery — squeezing third-party sellers in commoditized categories where Kirkland-equivalent private label now reaches consumers faster than ever.
Costco offloading volume to three competing delivery platforms signals accelerating consumer expectation for same-day fulfillment on bulk/warehouse assortments — a pressure point for Amazon/Walmart marketplace sellers in household essentials, pantry, and electronics categories. Sellers in those categories should audit their own same-day or next-day fulfillment eligibility, as Costco's expanded reach raises the baseline for delivery speed expectations.

In addition to demand from Costco members, DoorDash also saw interest among users on its own platform, where it shared that “Costco ranked among the most-searched retailers not yet available on DoorDash.”
Moving forward, DoorDash will provide Costco members with the ability to order groceries, pantry staples, household essentials, electronics, seasonal merchandise, Kirkland Signature products and other products from local Costco warehouse locations. Those orders will be available for same-day delivery. “The U. S.
launch also marks the next chapter in a global partnership already serving Costco members around the world,” Goldblatt stated. Check your Amazon listings in household essentials and electronics -- if you lack Prime same-day or next-day badging, you're now competing against Costco's DoorDash same-day reach; enable FBA or seller-fulfilled Prime where eligible.
Within 30 days, review your Walmart fulfillment settings for TwoDay delivery tags on pantry and bulk SKUs -- Costco's multi-platform push makes speed-of-delivery a minimum threshold, not a differentiator.
