DoorDash has integrated with Shopify, allowing U. S. merchants with physical stores to list products on the DoorDash marketplace and offer on-demand delivery without separate onboarding. The integration connects retailers with a third-party, delivery-centered marketplace, expanding their fulfillment reach.

DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats have been adding retailers to their marketplaces in recent years. In part, their marketplaces allow retailers to facilitate online sales without overseeing those deliveries.

“Merchants want to sell wherever their customers are, and increasingly that means meeting them with speed and convenience,” said Atlee Clark, vice president of partnerships at Shopify. “This integration puts local retailers in front of millions of DoorDash shoppers and turns same-day demand into sales, all managed inside Shopify.”
