Since its launch in November 2025, the program has enabled expert organisations to generate more than 200 million views with content that helps people better understand and use AI responsibly. TikTok have committed more than $4M to date and will continue investing in the program to expand its reach and impact.
Strengthening how TikTok tackle spam Every day TikTok sees the amazing ways AI can unlock new storytelling opportunities for the community. However, as this technology evolves, it can also be misused to mass-produce spam that crowds out authentic creators.
TikTok have long prohibited spam and used technology to find and remove it at scale, with more than 86 million fake accounts removed in the first three months of this year alone. But as this kind of content evolves, so must the ways in which TikTok protect the integrity of their platform.
In the coming weeks, TikTok will be testing improvements to their detection systems for accounts dedicated to posting AI-generated spam on topics that could pose a risk to public trust or well-being. These include politics and current events, financial advice, and medical content.
Deepening AI transparency partnerships As more creators explore AI, TikTok continue to expand labelling technologies and partnerships that help them do so responsibly.
Two years ago, TikTok was the first video platform to implement C2PA Content Credentials, a leading AI transparency technology that helps people understand when content has been generated or significantly edited by AI. Now, TikTok are proud to join C2PA’s Steering Committee so they can help drive adoption of this technology across our industry.
To date, TikTok have labeled over 3 billion videos as AIGC (AI-generated content) using a combination of Content Credentials, creator labeling tools and our invisible watermarking technology.
