Full Coverage

Shopify shipping capabilities have been expanded for European merchants, along with the introduction of new fulfillment updates to help merchants prepare for the holiday shopping season. Available directly through the Shopify admin, the updates are built to manage high volumes on any Shopify plan.

Merchants can act on hundreds of orders, and print every label and packing slip at the same time. Integrated pick lists make it easier to collect products from the floor and move them to shipping fast. Merchants using Shopify Flow can offload the work by buying the right carrier and service without manual steps.

Retailers can buy shipping labels using Shopify’s discounted rates for many carriers including the newly expanded integration with DHL, enabling new shipping capabilities and integrations to seven markets in Europe. Merchants can already manage orders, inventory, payments and many already buy their labels on Shopify.

These updates make it easier to operate at scale: A merchant can now take hundreds of orders through picking, packing and shipping in one run, which is particularly helpful as we are entering holiday shopping season, one of the busiest moments of the year.

At the same time our expanded partnership with DHL adds more domestic and international destinations to the same workflow giving merchants in the Netherlands and Poland access to a shipping carrier on Shopify for the first time.

– Cameron McKnight, VP Product, Shopify As each merchant operates differently, they can build the shipping capabilities to match their specific needs – customizing their fulfillment workflows to match their systems and teams.

It means that, with one source of truth within the Shopify admin, inventory, orders and customer records all get updated as orders are fulfilled. Merchants set up the system once and it runs how they need as order volume grows during the holiday season and other peak shopping periods.

Expanded DHL availability The enhanced integration with DHL includes a range of updates that make shipping easier and more effective for merchants, including the launch of DHL Express in Germany, the UK, France, Italy and Spain, supporting domestic and international shipments. DHL eCommerce is now available in Poland and the Netherlands.

Through Shopify’s partnership with DHL, merchants can: Access Shopify-negotiated DHL rates, with no separate DHL account or contract required. Access labels, tracking and address validation in one place: Merchants can print DHL labels in bulk, automatically validate addresses and track every shipment directly from the Shopify admin.

International and cross-border shipping through Shopify: In eligible markets, merchants that previously relied on third-party apps or separate DHL accounts can now manage domestic, international and cross-border orders directly from the Shopify admin. No additional app subscription or monthly fee, with DHL labels available on any Shopify plan.

Merchants in the Netherlands and Poland gain access as part of their existing Shopify plan for the first time. This partnership enables merchants to reach new consumers in more European markets through DHL’s extensive domestic and international network.

By making shipping easier to manage within the tools merchants already use, we are helping businesses expand across borders and unlock new growth opportunities. – Mirella Muller, Sector President eRetail & Fashion, DHL
