If your shop has no qualifying activity for an extended period, it may be classified as inactive or dormant, and certain restrictions may apply, and you’ll need to verify your identity to use TikTok Shop again. What counts as “qualifying activity”?

Any of the following counts: Logging into Seller Center Uploading or editing a product listing Hosting a Livestream using your shop’s official or marketing TikTok accounts, with shopping enabled Posting a video on your shop’s official or marketing TikTok accounts, with shopping enabled Clicking “Ready To Ship” on any order Responding to customer questions What happens if my shop is inactive and Dormant?

If your shop has no “qualifying activity” for a sustained period, TikTok Shop will take a phased approach: Early stage (inactive for more than 120 days): your products may have reduced visibility Later stage (inactive for more than 180 days): your shop will be marked as dormant, and you’ll not be able to receive any orders Deactivation stage (inactive for more than 365 days), TikTok Shop UK may temporarily or permanently deactivate your UK Shop.

The inactivity period is measured from your last activity What Is Expected from Sellers Early stage (inactive for more than 120 days): You can restore visibility by editing and re-listing the product. Later stage (inactive for more than 180 days): You must complete Re-Verification to restore the shop.

Read the article, Verifying Your Identity: What You Need To Do, for more information. Deactivation stage (inactive for more than 365 days): You may appeal within 180 days. If approved, your shop can be reinstated.

TikTok Shop will send notifications on the 90th day, 120th day, and 150th day since your last engagement in any seller management or login activities.
