The ecommerce technology provider ESW has launched a new solution called ESW Agentic Commerce, which it said will help brands to enable artificial intelligence (AI)-powered product discovery, partnering with Microsoft Copilot to do so. ESW describes itself as an international growth engine and a global ecommerce platform.
It said the ESW Agentic Commerce functionality allows brands to integrate and optimize their product catalogs on AI platforms. From there, it enables secure checkout and payments within AI-powered shopping experiences, according to ESW.
10 of the Top 2000 online retailers in North America use ESW for international ecommerce services, according to Digital Commerce 360 data. In 2025, those 10 online retailers combined for nearly $18. 19 billion in web sales. The Top 2000 is Digital Commerce 360’s database ranking North America’s largest online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales.
What ESW is doing in agentic commerce ESW said its pre-built AI agents automate payments, fraud management, fulfillment and customer service. It has worked with brands including Levi’s, J. Crew, L’Oreal and Calvin Klein.
In its announcement, ESW cited data from a McKinsey report projecting agentic commerce will represent a global opportunity of $3 trillion to $5 trillion by 2030. It also cited a statistic from Gartner research indicating traditional search could decline by 25% as consumers shift toward using AI assistants and platforms for discovery and shopping.
“AI is changing how consumers discover and buy products,” said Erich Eichmann, CEO of ESW, in a statement. “But until now, the technology needed to turn those interactions into real commerce globally just hasn’t been there.
Retailers don’t need another AI demonstration — they need infrastructure that generates revenue and powers the next generation of ecommerce.” News How B2B ecommerce companies can prepare for agentic AI discovery Abbas Haleem | Jul 21, 2026
